Terms
1. Scope
These terms apply to every order placed through this website, by consumers and business customers, worldwide. Different terms of a business customer apply only if we accept them in writing.
2. Orders and contract
The parts on this site are an invitation to order. Your order is an offer to buy; we confirm receipt by email straight away. The contract is concluded when we confirm availability and fitment for your car, or when we ship, whichever comes first.
Before you send the order you can review and correct the items and your details in the cart. If we cannot supply a part you have already paid for, we refund the full amount within 14 days.
Parts marked “On request” are quoted individually for your car; that quote states price, shipping and delivery time.
3. Prices, taxes and duties
Prices are in EUR. Shipping is calculated at checkout for your country, or quoted after your order where no rate is shown. For deliveries outside Switzerland, import duties, customs fees and the local VAT of the destination country are not included and are payable by you on delivery unless we agree otherwise in writing. For deliveries within Switzerland, Swiss VAT is charged where it applies.
4. Payment
You can pay by card through Stripe or by bank transfer using the order reference. Parts made or modified to order may require payment in advance. Ownership passes to you on full payment.
5. Delivery and import
We ship worldwide by courier. Delivery times are estimates and are confirmed with your order. For consumers, the risk passes when you receive the parts; for business customers, when we hand them to the carrier.
You are responsible for checking that the parts may be imported into, and used in, your country. If a shipment is refused or cannot be cleared through customs for reasons on your side, you bear the return costs.
6. Fitment and road use
Performance parts can change emissions, noise and the type approval of your car. Parts marked “for motorsport use only” — including all catless downpipes — are not legal on public roads in Switzerland, the EU and many other countries. You are responsible for using parts only where the law allows it.
Mercedes-AMG is a registered trademark of Mercedes-Benz Group AG. DD Tuning is independent and not affiliated with Mercedes-Benz. Parts that change emissions or noise may not be road-legal; check type approval before use on public roads.
7. Warranty
You have the statutory warranty for defects: for consumers two years from delivery (Art. 210 Swiss Code of Obligations); consumers living in the EU or UK keep at least the protection of their home country. We repair, replace or refund defective parts. Incorrect installation, motorsport use, normal wear and modifications by others are not covered.
8. Liability
We are liable without limit for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life and health. Otherwise our liability is limited to the extent the law allows, in particular for indirect and consequential damage.
9. Withdrawal
Consumers can withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days. See the Returns page for how it works and the exceptions.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
Swiss law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). The place of jurisdiction is the registered office of the seller. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law and the courts of your country of residence.
For complaints, write to us first at the contact details on the Imprint page; we answer within 14 days. Consumers can also turn to a consumer protection or alternative dispute resolution body in their country.
